You are required to have a driver for every procedure, regardless if you have sedation or not. This is hospital policy.
Some injections do require you to stop your blood thinners. Please notify your physician if you are on a blood thinner as soon as possible.

For procedures and injections, most of the time, these will be done at the Oklahoma Spine Hospital. 14101 Parkway Commons Drive OKC, OK 73134.
This depends on the person and type of injection.
Some side effects of steroid injections may be difficulty sleeping, increase in blood sugar levels, flushing of the face (redness or feeling of warmth), temporary increase of pain, headaches and nausea/vomiting.
You should not eat or drink 4 hours prior to your procedure.
We do offer IV sedation with injections, it is a conscious sedation.
